Source Code Management
We are currently using subversion (also known as svn) as our source code management system.
The repository can be accessed at:
Contact us if you want access.
In case you haven't worked with svn before:
If you access the repository via your web browser, you can only see the last revision. So you are better off getting a real svn client. On Windows, we recommend either using the command line utilities bundled with the Windows release of subversion or TortoiseSVN.
As an introductory manual for svn usage, we can recommend the svnbook available at http://svnbook.red-bean.com.
The structure of the agroXML repository follows the usual practice with a division into 3 subdirectories:
- branches: contains branches in a frozen phase shortly before release (release candidates) or branches which are already published but remain in maintenance.
- tags: contains published releases copied from branches to tags upon release and put onto the web at http://www.agroxml.de/schema/
- trunk: The recent development branch, upon which all current modifications happen
